Our district has umpires that help us thought out the year. With our clines and tournaments. With out there help we could we could never get though the year. All the umpires that have gone to State, Regional, and World Series are team leaders.
Team Leader's are a big part of District 27.

Congratulations to Al Callies from the Edna Little League who is the third umpire from our district who was invited to call in a regional tournament Al will be umpiring in 2002, 2003, 2004,2005, 2006 Softball Regional Tournament. Butch Clark
Once again
district 27 is honored with an umpire going to a World Series. Butch Clark of Edna has been selected to call in the
2002 Big League World Series (August 3 through August 10) . Butch has
been umpiring throughout the district ever since I have know him. Little
League has two separate programs baseball and softball, starting from
Tee Ball progressing Big League. Butch has participated in all of them.
It has been a pleasure calling with Butch, for he has taught me a
lot about the game of umpiring and about life. So when you see Butch,
you pat him on the back, it took a lot of dedication and time to get
there. Butch work the Softball State and the Regional Tournament in
2003. Will be going to the Softball Big League World Series in 2004.

LLBB, LLSB, at district play for 10 years, Sectional play for years. State
Tournament for three years baseball & 2006 State softball. I have also held President, Player Agent,
Umpire-in-Chief, now Safety Officer and present active Board Member.

tournament crew chief. 2004 season is 28th season as an umpire.

1999 LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL WORLD SERIES UMPIRE

I started with the Edna Little
League program back in 1972, which was a long time ago. I started managing a team called
WOW (Woodsmen of the World), which did not have a manager or coach. Little did I
know then how much Little League Baseball would change my life. After managing four years, it got to where I could not take the time off work to manage anymore. I did not want to quit my involvement with Little League, but could not manage either. A friend of mine, J.W. Wyer, an umpire, asked me if I wanted to umpire a game with him. One
game that's all it took. I've been having fun umpiring every since. Yes, umpiring is fun!
In 1991, I umpired in the Southern Regional tournament in St. Petersburg,
Florida. During the week of August 21 - 28, 1999, I traveled to Williamsport,
Pennsylvania, to umpire for the Little League World Series, having my plate game
televise on ESPN. Binning at LLWS was realizations of
a life long dream! On 2003 became Texas East Softball Umpire Coordinator for the
